’The Highwayman’ and ‘Typhoid Fever’ Comparison.
Some of the similarities from The highwayman and Typhoid Fever are that both female characters die. Also both sets of character are forbidden to talk to each other but they still try to find a way to do so. The way they die, however, is very different “Patricia “From Typhoid Fever has a sickness on her way to the lavatory she struggles. She does not want to use the bedpan next to her bed, she rather use the lavatory when she finally makes it there she falls and dies. “Bess” From The Highwayman dies when she is tied down with a musket pointing at her and is basically forced to kill herself. A difference in the stories is that only one of the males die in the stories. The male that dies is from the story The highwayman he becomes shot.
