First Persuasive Paragraph

Students should be given money to buy gifts for their Friends, because for some students allowance isn’t enough when holidays come around. Students are able to work for money, but some students are too focused on school and studies. Other students are either too young or busy with other extracurricular activities or hobbies. This situation puts them in a position in which, unless they save their allowance, they do not have enough money to afford gifts for their friends. Students aren’t expected to buy gifts for friends, but since they are older now it is a sign of respect and being grateful for the person who the gifts are for. It is also a nice thing to do. If there is no money in a student’s wallet there is no gifts for they are no gifts for their friend. Handmade gifts are possible but to other students it may seem a bit childish and strange. That’s why there should be a little help from others to students in need of money.

SPA Movie & Games Day Paragraph.

Well I like to classify myself under the category “Honest”, so on Friday when I arrived at school, late of course because I was feeling very pessimistic and lazy. I saw Mr. Walker and he said to me “go in there”. When Griselda and I took a look inside, I’m not sure what she saw, but what I saw was horrible. There were kids scattered all over the floor! So we sat there on the floor and watched “Freedom Writers” a movie. Then after about two hours it was over. After that we had to go to the gym. My buddy and I who shall not be named decided we did not want to there we wanted to go home instead. So in a desperate attempt to escape the gym I went out the front doors so did my buddy. My buddy made it through Mr. Walker but he stopped and said “this is the place to be”. Shortly after my buddy appeared Mr. Walker had gotten my buddy. So we stayed in the gym watching kids play and make fools out of themselves. It was torture but we made it through the day! Frankly it was oine of the worse days of my life.

The Bass, the River, and Shelia Mant’ Airhead Stereotype.

Sheila Mant a seventeen year old girl in the story “The Bass, the River, and Shelia Mant” is not an airhead Sheila Mant seems more confused than anything she does not like the boy that has a crush on her and yeah I don’t what im saying so maybe I should go read the book again !!!

Internal and External Conflicts

In the story we are reading there is a young fourteen year old boy, his internal conflicts are that he falls in love with seventeen year old Sheila Mant and it takes him a while to ask her out. The external conflicts are, that when finally he asks her out and they go out on a date, he is also trying to catch a huge bass fish. Around the end of the story he does not get his fish and to add another internal conflict Sheila Mant goes off with another boy to get a ride home. Sheila Mant on the other hand does not really have problems other than she’s not really interested in him.
