Academic Language Week 29 - School Conferences

Parents should not have to face jail time for missing their child’s school conference. Some parents can be single parents who are working at the time or having to take care of their other children at home. They are RESOURCES some parents can SEEK to get help taking care of their children. However some parents refuse to let other programs or adults take care of their children for fear that they may become injured or mistreated. Another reason is that some parents might have to work such as lawyers or doctors who are almost always on call. This type of work field makes it difficult for parents to TRANSFER from one place to the other. Making it extremely difficult for parents to show up to their child’s school conference. In conclusion parents should not have to face jail time for missing their child’s school conference.

If school administrators feel like they need to use a drug sniffing dogs then they definitely should. If they go through the PROCESS of doing so then they are the ones who have to pay money. If nothing is found then the ASSUMPTION was a mistake, but it is always good to be sure. If school administrators do not mind the RESPONSE students will have then they should go through with the PROCESS.

Testing Thoughts Paragraph

I have already taken the CAHSEE a couple of times I passed the English portion of it the first time, but I always miss the math portion by a couple of points. I wasn't told if I needed to take the CAHSEE this time around so I hope I finally passed it. The first time however that I took the CASHEE I was really nervous. I calmed myself down a little, and then I just tried to relax and I did OK. The next day I freaked out though and I was like really stressed and tired, I had my head down most of the time because I was having a really hard time concentrating. I failed my test that day, but I still kept trying on it. Every time I get stressed during a test I go take like a 5 minute walk and then go back and finish.

Academic Language Week 18 - Teen Drivers

The teen driving CULTURE can be very dangerous during this time and age. Teens are very much distracted by electronic devices. Teens text, make calls, and listen to Ipods at times these small distractions can CONCLUDE to a big incident. Teens have a high rate of accidents in the US. They should have more restrictions on their driver’s license. This way teens can be maintained in a safe environment and so can other people. It would also help if there were even more restrictions applied on teens before they ACQUIRED their driver’s permit. The roads woulkd be much safer, and so would people and mainly teens. Reducing the accident rate.
